.5/1: 88 in SB with bunch of limpers
UTG is loose passive (VPIP>50 af<0.5). BB is loose, aggressive and bad. CO is tight but seemed kind of weak (tight passive), didn't value bet TPTK on the turn in a heads up pot
What is the minimum pocket pair you need to raise here in SB? I won't do it with 88 because they all call and have many overcards. I would raise for value maybe TT+ Rest of the hand standard? Re: .5/1: 88 in SB with bunch of limpers
I'd 3bet the turn. Usually raise here preflop personally but it's on the border. 77 I usually complete, 99 is autoraise.

Re: .5/1: 88 in SB with bunch of limpers
I don't raise pf. I like the 3-bet on the flop.
I would be tempted to 3-bet the turn. With all of the callers you probably have equity even if you are behind the straight. UTG could be easily raising 68 or 78 just as often as he is raising the straight. I haven't played .5/1 in a while, so maybe his turn raise means the nuts. |

Re: .5/1: 88 in SB with bunch of limpers
I'm raising with 99+ in this spot.
I think the rest of the hand is pretty standard. Looks like UTG either hit his gutshot, slowplayed his straight, or slowplayed his 2 pair here. Just try and maneuver your set to showdown here. |
