Thanks for the replies. My standard line would be to 3-bet this flop, but BVB I really didn't want to blow him off his hand. Based on the general consensus it seems as though that was a mistake.
In the end, I felt like a genius when he turned over As4s and I saved big on the river, but the more I thought about it the more this river seemed like a push. |

After learning to limp with Aces, new players find this little gem to be tricky with. "He'll discount the FD if I bet/raise, how can I lose!" They don't stick it out though... typically, these guys make a show of strength on the flop, then c/c the turn. Lots of 10NL guys do that though, so a specific read definately helps, but I think villain's line on this hand makes the flush more probable here than maybe it does at other stakes. |
