the main thing is knowing if they're aware and adjusting accordingly. continue to play pots in position and you'll come out ahead.

This isn't a bad spot to call his flop CR and float the turn since there are no draws. He'll have to give you credit for a hand and will check-fold the turn at least 50% of the time. If he fires again then you can fold.

Follow his tendencies. How does he play a set, how does he play a draw, how does he play TP.

Also try to follow the flow of the game. If you don't have credibility, wait for a better hand/spot, if you have lots of credibility, then open up.

If you want to win the pot here it's a lot better to 3bet than to float imo because it's more convincing you have a good hand and also because there are times when he will carry on leading weakly on the turn and he would've folded the flop.

As for the hand, I would usually fold but if villain wasn't too donkish and seemed aware then I would 3bet quite a lot of the time because he can't really have anything that can really take the heat on this board apart from 22, 33 or maybe AJ and they'll fold a lot of the itme. If they seem pretty bad then I would only 3bet AJ+ and expect them to call a lot with TP or even medium PP's some of the time. Either way you're exploiting the villain's tendencies and will have the best of it in the long run.

WTF is all this? You have 9 high and just got c/r'd. If you have a read that someone is making moves on you and want to continue, at least wait till you have a hand, or a draw, or overs, something...

GRUNCH:

instafold without a read. IF however villain goes crazy and you have a solid read he/'s doing this with air (ie. he's shown down a hand), 3bet bluff-fold with rags and float with MP-type hands.

I'm not planning on winning the hand. I'm wondering if, in a long term view, it's better to fold to a min-raise on the fold and screw my image or to call flop and fold turn in order to maintain credibility and be able to keep regularly stealing blinds.

the simple answer to your question is no because:

- villain will have a hand, however mediocre, more often that you might think.
- you must adapt to your table image. your folding to this minraise will give your next 3bet much more credibility, and winning that larger pot will more than make up for losing this one.

And here's another great piece of advice i wih i'd learned a while ago:
- metagame counts for [censored] at SSNL.
