Default hand in ME day 2 against james van alstine

comments on all post flop streets appreciated.

level 500/1000 with 100 ante, i have 65k in my stack, james has me covered.

i open to 3000 LP with AA, james calls in the BB.

flop Ks Qs 8c

james checks, i bet 4500, james makes it 12k to go. i call.

turn 4d

james checks, i check

river 5h

james bets 25k, i call.

why not 3 bet flop imo theres exactly two hands in his range that beat you

You definitely took the most standard line and the line I would take 75%+ of the time.

Betting the turn and calling a shove would also be fine.
A river shove would be pretty badass but thats obviously highly read dependent.

Yeah.. shoving the river is total spew. Sure, it looks bluffy, but the guy's range is polarized to [censored] that can't call and [censored] that beats us.
