fwiw i dont get why youd want to b/c either. id rather get the money in via crai unless you think villain is pushing straight air on the flop

My intuition says that your equity vs his hand range when you get the money in via crai is worse than when you just bet-call.

It should also be said, that Brian Townsend thought that the call with jj, was very poor.

this is true, but that's countered by villain betting literally ATC on the flop

Hero reraised to 145 and I think villain made a pretty loose call pre. Hero obviously planned to get it in on a lot of flops. This flop is particularly ugly for Hero taking villain's preflop calling range into account.

I think an interesting play for Hero would be a big c/r on the flop, which takes away villain's FE against Hero. I mean, if he's planning on taking it all the way, he may as well go for something like that instead of calling off his chips as an almost certain underdog.

C/R AI sucks. Aba's probably checking behind most of his range that doesn't include sets or spade combos.

I misunderstood the OP at first but I think c/c and c/f are better than CRAI
