Mid limit O8 at commerce?

got a friend who wants to make the LA trip with us next month, but only if there's some good O8 action (bigger than 6/12, smaller than 100/200). what are we lookin at?

I don't know, but I think I have seen other posters here say that there are no regular mid-limit O8 games in the LA area. Might want to ask in the O8 forum though. The biggest I have seen is the regular 6/12 at the Bike. All they have in the regular big lowlimit room at the Commerce is 3/6, but I haven't checked the high limit areas.

Not sure that the game you describe exists in LA on a regular basis.

The only thing I know of that is even in the ballpark is a amazingly great $6-12 w 1/2 kill at Hawaiian Gardens, and I guess $20-40 stud 8(full kill I think) at Commerce, Bike, and HG.

Well this is off topic, but how do they do a kill in a stud game? I have never heard of that before.

That reminds me though, the 6/12 O8 at the Bike is full kill. While it has plenty of bad play, I really can't recommend it as I thought there might have had some collusion going on, and have heard from others of the same suspicions.

The kill in the 2 way games in AC is based on a scooped pot over a certain amount.

I have played the 10/20 mix game at the Borgata - they have a kill in the O8 rounds, but not in the stud rounds.
