FWIW: vs aba, I probably lead fairly weak, and call a shove, figuring that he's probably splashing around a ton, and that I can actually get it in with decent equity a good amount of the time + pot odds

How can you look at 1 hand at a table that you're not even involved in and determine that it is misplayed? I'm not trying to kill discussion but just because you play it different doesn't mean it's played "wrong."
