Default What to do in this spot was it to be expected?

Ok so i just come back after loosing another large bot to some loose donk so i have now tripled my buy in only to look at pocket aces. HMM . The guy was generally conservative not making any crazy tricky plays when this happened. Just your thoughts please. Thanks

i like checking this turn and seeing how villain plays it... i dont like just shoving as your only getting called by the flush\str8. probs a check call depending on bet size etc. he shouldnt have called your flop bet he wasnt getting anywhere near the correct odds unless u give him good implied which is exactly what u did... i would c\c or c\f this turn depending on the size of the bet. tough spot tho.

Checking turn in rrz'd pot with 3-flush board looks pretty bad here.

Oh yea ... and raise flop to $270

Flop re-raise was not a pot size re-raise. What you did gave him odds to own you, so really it was your own fault.
