Re: 100 NL, JTs 3-bet pot, value bet river?
[ QUOTE ]
Bet $35 he has AK and will call lol [/ QUOTE ] Just curious how you guys put him on AK. Why wouldn't he bet the flop with top pair, top kicker? Too dangerous of a flop? I would have thought he would play KK the same way... |

Re: 100 NL, JTs 3-bet pot, value bet river?
The reason you are ahead is because he checked both the flop and the turn. On the flop, AA would bet to protect from the straight draw, and KK would most likely bet/fold to see if you have AK or better. On the turn, he would bet or check-raise if he had made the straight. Remember what you stated at the beginning: This is a TIGHT-AGGRESSIVE player. Is his play standard for a tight-aggressive player? Negative.

I fire $20-25ish and fold if he c/r, because its basically never not a boat from BT2, he just doesn't get tricky like that ever.
And we have to fire the river because he will pay off with AK here almost all the time I think. |
