Re: NL100 | KTo turned trips vs lagdonk
[ QUOTE ]
I think raising the turn sucks because he folds everything that we're currently beating (except maybe a couple flush draws), and he might bet again on the river given his stats. [/ QUOTE ] my thinking was the same, 8 and 9 in the flop were annoying |

Re: NL100 | KTo turned trips vs lagdonk
Meh, thinking about it more, not sure. Maybe a turn raise is better.
I know his range on the turn is still quite wide, but what part of his range has the most weight when he blocks the turn like that? |

Re: NL100 | KTo turned trips vs lagdonk
against this sort of player i am doing my best to get it in for 130bbs.
Any two hearts, JT, 89, 67, weaker kings etc could easily be played the same as this, it's obvious that we are beat by quite a few of the more likely hands for the villain but his range is so wide that raising is more +EV than calling. Especially considering there is only the case king left |

Re: NL100 | KTo turned trips vs lagdonk
IMO raise flop is better than raise turn, and if I played it that way river gets tricky as hell. Whatever, its tricky regardless.

Re: NL100 | KTo turned trips vs lagdonk
Raise/call flop, depending on opponent (call if he's betting a lot here)
Raise turn for sure. As played call river |

Re: NL100 | KTo turned trips vs lagdonk
I like it how you played it against this villain, call the river now. There are not alot of worse hands he calls river with, and he bluffs in this spot alot after you showed so much weakness on previous streets.
