Excellent read for a first timer in Vegas, even though as of now i only play lowstakes poker. It's not in the same league as the other questions, but after a 3 month ended trip over here, we realize that next time we're going, we would like to stay at a hotel the whole duration (few months), how cheap does the rooms get if you put in a [censored] of hours at the bigger hotels poker rooms (Wynn, Bellagio, MGM, Caesars, Venetian), and what kinda comps can you get? It's gonna be mainly poker by far at 5/10'ish levels, and i'd imagine some random pit games on the nights out. I can't imagine it's just poker player rate if you really put an effort to it.

Alot of very interesting stories and comp stuff in here, thanks for a great read everyone who contributed =)

how many days did you play/stay at Mandalay?

Believe it or not, but sometimes the pit doesn't count multiple hands in your average bet, so next time be sure to check so you know exactly what they have recorded for you. It's happened to me before more than once.
