Re: staking theory
I have been staked for my whole poker BR for a while and am still currently staked for major live MTTs, and here is my advice. Only stake someone you know really well, this isnt only for trust reasons, because usually there is a reason a person needs a stake in the first place. Make sure you help them with their game and frequently watch them play.
Most people who back others lose. My deal was 50% of wins and losses for my main BR, and for MTTs we use a cumalitive system. I make 50% of my net winnings. So basically if I bust from 3 10k events and make 100k in the 4th, I make 30k. Most backing deals are -EV for the backer, even though backing the right people can make you a lot of money. My backer has done well w/ me. |
