Default Re: General \"Where to start\" question for MTTs

My one month plan after not playing MTT's for almost a year.

Change my 2+2 bookmark from SSNL to MTTC
Re-read HOH 1 and 2 and 3
Watch all of the MTT HH listed in high stakes forum.
Re-read the anthology.
Sign up to PokerXfactor

Get back in the flow playing the $4 and $10/180s and the $5 and $10 large field MTT's.

Build up my T$ roll by playing the Sunday Million sats, Sunday 100k sats, and the WCOOP(though this may be thwarted by them only offer W$ instead of T$) sats.

Break my cherry by playing my first +$100 MTT by sat'ing into the end of month Sunday million.

Sounds good, and although the sunday 100k sats are insanely uber soft, the $/hour in them isn't great (although not as bad as it may seem, they're REALLY soft) and more importantly they don't do anything to help your game because the players are absolutely horrendous.

Why go for the $530 before you try the $215?

The upside is similar and the downside is so much smaller if you're not sufficiently rolled.

My advice, if you're going to play these, buy some W$ to fund your play. That way, if you have no intention of playing a big event, you can sell them without losing 10%.

I have a full time job so my roll really isn't a problem and I'm going to be playing the sats so hopefully when I win multiple seats I'll go ahead and play that end of the monther for fun.

plus it gives me a more time to get back in the flow and improve.

In terms of the Sunday 100K, I'm probably just going to play the 70FPP one table tourney's.
