Wow $8K. Go Go Tommy!

I took Tommy's course when it was substantially less and it was certainly worth every penny for me.

I won't go into all the details, but suffice it to say that the course wasn't anything like I expected. There was a lot less strategy and a lot more practical advice than I envisioned. When we met I had only been playing poker for a year or two, whereas Tommy had been a winning poker player for a very long time. Listening to him talk about getting the money all the way back home and into his bank account was eye opening.

As for the strategy portion of the course, at the time I felt like his course was weak on improving your 'game'. However, several years after taking his course the key strategic concepts we covered are now the key strategic concepts I employ in my game.

If it matter I currently play No-Cal 20-40 live almost exclusively and I am a significant winner (as in I can document my earnings).

All in all, I got everything I could hope for out of the course.

This is what I think. If $8,000 is a drop in the bucket for you then I dont see why you shouldnt pay for Tommy's course. It can only help your game. However, if $8,000 is a lot of money for you then you will have a tough decision to make. I would love to take Tommy's course, but Im not willing to spend $8,000 to talk about poker with him. Given his track record, Im convinced that he's a great poker player.

The time you spend with him will be worth much more than $8000 in the long run. It's not close.

I only blah blah blah blah.

Not sure if that was a joke or not, but just in case -- no self-promotion or advertising within posts. -- joker
