hmmz if you think JJ is going broke here its a bad line but i think panic thinks JJ is folding here on the turn or river with a normal line

I think OP significantly reduced the chances of stacking villain here by the way he played it.

Any heart kills your action and any T/J/Q/K/A severely limits your action. That's approaching half the deck. And of course we have the protection issue (although this is meh in this hand I suppose).

I just bet this flop. And a 33/11 with JJ is most assuredly going broke here. *

I think this hand is FPS.

Just IMO.

Edit *: "most assuredly" is too strong actually. "Very often" might be better.

i'd be very suprised if a 31/11/2 villin folds JJ here... nothing suggests hes a particularly good player, you're giving him too much credit if you think he folds overpairs

lol at the micro's this is spew. If u want to extract more value out of them postflop u can call if ur in position. I tried that a couple times and they stacked of more easily. But u can only do that against players who go allin more easily post flop, u trap them by not showing much strenght preflop.

If you cant get QQ to stack off to your AA on this flop you aren't working your image enough.

Why does he have a pair? A 11% PFR guy will have much less than 11% PFR in UTG position. He might well limp 22-99 in early position. I'd say his range is more like TT+, AK, AQ.

My general rule for big overpairs: pot pot push unless there is resistance.

Since opponents usually call too much in the micros slow-playing is usually wasting money.

I really dont get this hand. You both check the flop? My 3betting range will get huge against a player like you.

I don't think a 31/11/2 almost always holds a pair here. And if he has a high pair he will pay you off anyhow if you bet it all streets.

you have to bet the flop to protect against straight/flush draws. I'd bet around 8.

[/ QUOTE ]

It is very unlikely this player will have called with any of the straight draws on that flop preflop. 31/11/2 is not very fishy, it's quite loose preflop, but not very loose. And you don't need to protect against the flush draw vs 1 opponent.
