Default NL50 playing aces for max value

You like this play?
Villian is 31/11/2, he almost for sure holds here a pair, so after a 3bet preflop he probably only calls when he has his set, but on the tunr he will take a stab to see if I only have over cards.
You like?

Would he not call with jacks, queens or kings on the flop?

I like it, at first I thought about a retarded turn minraise to extract value but then I have a feeling he would just check to you on the river and may not call a decent sized value bet. But if your pretty certain he has an overpair then that may be a good play too.

I like the flop check, he will be putting you on AK/AQ a lot of the time as you say. It worked too judging by the call on the river!

yep Villian showed QQ, but in his range are also smaller pairs that would not call a bet on the flop, QQ maybe will call here. But playing against his range I think this is the best move.

you have to bet the flop to protect against straight/flush draws. I'd bet around 8.

I'm not sure how you like this play. you let him draw at a flush/straight when we could have had his stack with QQ, so this play was not for max value.

Why so flusdraw afraid?

He's read is that he have some kind of PP let say 77-QQ..

If you bet the flop 77-99 will fold .and if you raise or 2nd barrel the turn it is most likly he fold JJ QQ also..

So if you check you can induce a bluff from 77-99.. And a call from them because NORMALLY you never check this flop with AA so it really likes TT or a bluf..
