Re: TPBK laydown late in 100K
This was a $100 BI, sry probs should have said in my OP. Push pre flop? Really? From my admittedly limited knowledge of tourny stratergy I would have thought that that would be risking FAR too much relative to what I could gain? Similarly with the comments concerning the raise size, I thought 4BB raises were a no no at this stage of a tourny? Equally though, I do see that my raise was too small PF. 3*BB FTW?
JammyDodga said: "The way he played it could be quite a cheap way of him trying to take a c-bet away from you. He could have a queen, or even a seven..." Yeah I agree with this sentiment but I felt strongly at the time that he would be check calling the river with these holdings. Surely that would be the most profitable way to play a queen? Does he lead the river with a just a queen?Could see him turning his 7 into a bluff here though. The lead made he feel like the chances of him having improved on one pair with qj, for instance, were quite high? Also, when i discussed this with my mate, he said he probs would have pushed the turn? Any takers there? Thanks for the comments BTW, much appreciated. |
