Re: 100NL: Stacking off with TPNK in blind war
I agree with your raise on the flop, but I'm not sure how you think his 4bet is two overs in this spot?
BTW, what's yeti theorem? |

Re: 100NL: Stacking off with TPNK in blind war
Your line may be optimal, based on the flow the game - I just think I would call down -
A note on the overcards - Spades of the overcards actually help our hand - I am interested in hearing results - |

Re: 100NL: Stacking off with TPNK in blind war
yea, y not just calldown against this donk and we have good possiblities on turn...do we think his 3.5 AF will shove us off our hand later on, so much that we show strength on the flop with a marginal holding??

Re: 100NL: Stacking off with TPNK in blind war
The raise is bad unless you were either trying to induce a 3-bet or had an easy laydown to one - and it's probably still bad if you have an easy laydown.

Re: 100NL: Stacking off with TPNK in blind war
that a 3bet is always a bluff on a paired board. I just figured this board is essentially so dry its equal to a paired board.
I mean is the guy rlly 3betting hands like 89->A9? or even TT/JJ? edit: Jam it was to induce more action since I had done it before as a bluff, humm....still bad? |

Re: 100NL: Stacking off with TPNK in blind war
and if its too thin whats the minimum mediocre hand u raise? Q9 or are you waiting for any overpair? Really felt like the guy was ready to stack-off light.

Re: 100NL: Stacking off with TPNK in blind war
yeah thats why I moved in, not overly happy with it though. I'd feel better about it if I had like Q9 or something.
I still won versus his AK but it seems really really thin. |
