Default 07/08/07 John From Cincinnati Thread

Pretty lame episode.... I am starting to agree with people, not to watch the show unless they start to answer some questions. Only thing that really went on was the developing situation with Sean's mother, but nothing interesting happened....

Still have no idea where this show is going...

How many episodes are slated for season 1?

Every time I try to watch this show, I find myself bored to tears within minutes. I don't find it the least bit interesting or intriguing.

I'm beginning to really dislike the grandmother. Enough already.

Terrible episode; RdM was practically unwatchable, and the dialogue was barely comprehensible.

Previews for next week looked no better.

Surely the EL D sighting redeemed the episode somewhat. Agree about RdM, her character has become thoroughly unlikeable.

The only thing I can see saving this show is a new main-type character played by either Bullock, Tolliver, Swearengen, or Dority. Preferably Swearengen.

I'm holding out hope for a Sipowicz sighting.

This ep didn't do much for me, either, but In Milch We Trust. Hell, what other show prompts posts that include the words "the porn chick mom is smoking"?

BTW, I think I've picked up a few clues on Actual God's true identity, but I'm going to keep sniffing before I make a guess, because like in the game of "Clue", I only get one guess at the envelope.

No, "sniffing" does not include stalking, wiretaps, or hacking email accounts.

I've just been watching Season Three of Deadwood, and noticed a name in the credits I hadn't noticed before. Saw that name again tonight in JFC's closing credits. That name also got a "Written By" credit in the episode of Deadwood that features AG's favorite line about "Puberty may bring you to understand what we take for mother-love is really murderous hatred and a desire for revenge."

That's it. That's all I've got. Stay tuned.
