Abbreviations
Hi guys, my turn to ask the dumb questions...
People talk a lot about nits. I know what they mean and who plays "nitty," etc, but what does the actual "NIT" stand for? Also, what does "tk;dl" (or something closs to it) stand for? |

Re: Abbreviations
my guess is that NIT would stand for Nit Wit in this case, unsure of the other

Re: Abbreviations
I found that the actual thing is "tl;dr" which means "too long, didn't read."
For NIT, I don't think it's Nit Wit since they seem to talk about extremely tight players instead of stupid. My guesses are that it's something like "No Imagination Tight" or a British slang. |

Re: Abbreviations
as far as nit goes i saw on another post that it meant someone that was an old timer and was "nit picky", and a stickler for the rules. It was also stated that it was primarily used at B&M.
