Have you ever had a million dollar swing in one night? Does it need to be said?

I read Phil Ivey won a million in A.C., if he is betting enough to win a million, he will eventually lose millions playing craps. It's a sucker game. I will say again, if Ivey would have stuck to high stakes poker, he would have already of had enough money to take on Beal headsup himself and he would be 16 million richer now. Ivey wanted to play 100k/200k, the group 30k/60k, in this last round with Beal. Those oppurtunities don't come up often, maybe once in a lifetime. I predict he will go broke like every single sucker bet player out of control, it's inevitable.

A. given the ridiculous stakes, the relatively small # of BBs, and the quality of beal's play, wouldn't the short term variance playing beal hu be someone equivalent to playing "the smart way" at a craps table?

B. playing craps pwns

money is irrelevant. until you realize this, you are the one running the dangerously high risk of stymying your poker career. Do you really think phil cares at all about the money he lost playing craps? I often play really drunk 4/8 and often acheive some impressively high loss rates. Do i care? not at all. It was fun, and i enjoyed it.

People like you need to learn that other people have different value systems than you, and dont really care about your opinion. You also should stay away from bbv.

I agree with the rest of what you said, but as the mod for BBV - this just wasn't a nice thing to say.

lol, Do you think he cares what anyone thinks and do you think I care what you think? I'm just stating the facts, he did not have the money to play Beal headsup on his own and yes I think he cares about the money he wins/loses playing craps. Do you think guys like Beal with 20 million to lose playing headsup poker comes around often? Don't be ignorant, because they don't. Why would any smart person gamble on
something, where they don't have an edge? I can see recreationally for fun, but winning/losing a million a day,
it will lead to one thing, going broke. Would you care to debate that?

With moderators like you it's a wonder anyone new would ever post. You should be terminated as a moderator of BBV for saying things like "stay away from BBV", especially to a newbie. TY to the other moderator for somewhat putting his ego in check.

bbv is filled with lots and lots of stories about people taking -ev propositions. The bbv pasttime is pbj, followed up closely by every other partycasino game. If a story about one of the best poker players in the world, who probably has tons of money, playing craps distresses him, i can only image what a post about someone losing $20K on pbj would do to the poor guy.
