Default Line of stuck pixels

I just got my new 24 inch Samsung monitor [245BW] hooked up to my laptop and everything was dandy for about 10 minutes until I saw that the monitor developed a vertical line of light blue stuck pixels [wasn't there before], in series, from the top to the bottom of the monitor. I have read a lot about these but most, if not all of the things I have read are for loan pixels. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on quick fixes or anything really.

It is under a three year waranty that I'm near certain can be replaced with this many stuck pixels, but since it's a pain, an I already had to wait a week for Best Buy to get the monitor in stock, any and all help I can get from you folks can help.

If there is no hope I will of course look to get it replaced.

Dont even try to fix it. You might screw it up and void the warranty( some methods for fixing stuck pixels are kind of primative).
Call Samsung directly...

This happened to me. Twice. Search under my username with "+Samsung +line" and I'm sure you'll find it. I linked to the technical explanation of what's going on, and I told the daring tale of calling Samsung and them immediately replacing it.

I read your thread SamIAm, and like yours, mine ended well.

I returned it to Best Buy, which is usually not the most fun part of my day, but after checking the problem, I got a brand new 245BW in minutes and it's looking great.

Here is the link, for anyone interested. Samsung appear to have gotten this whole process perfected...
