At the top 30%, this is about an even money call, so I guess it depends on OPs pushing range.

Top 60% this is a call for +2 %.

[/ QUOTE ]

Still not as close as I thought. Especially since OP is probably pushing more than 60%.

SngPower Tools isnt always correct around the bubble from what I understand, is there more to this than that?

The looser the big stack is pushing, the better the call becomes. In this situation you would be expecting big stack to be pushing very wide, possibly ATC, so QQ is an easy and correct call against most villains.

If big stack has been actively pushing the table around, I'm praying he shoves into my QQ so I can get a much needed double up since I'm way ahead of his range.

I don't play for a cash, I play FTW and getting all in with QQ is fine with me.

Furthermore, that's my bubble (aren't they all?!?!)

Plz only reply if you know what you are talking about.

My roomate doesn't see why this is a bad call with QQ.

[/ QUOTE ]

I also do not see why this is a bad call with QQ

[ QUOTE ]
Most people will call with QQ here, but my point is that it isnt a correct play mathematically and strategically.

[/ QUOTE ]

....yes it is

[ QUOTE ]
If someone could do a SnGPT or Pokerstove on this I am interested in the output.

[/ QUOTE ]

if he is shoving 22+,A2s+,A3o+,KTs+,KJo+,QJs, it is just +0.1. I PROMISE you, he is shoving a lot closer to Any two cards. If he is shoving any two, it is +3.7%. If you are passing up 3.7% edges in a sit and go well....i dont even know.

i know why you think this may be a fold, but the stacks do not indicate such. the discrepancy in stack sizes as well as the blinds still dont make calling with QQ bad here; quite the contrary, folding QQ would be terrible here against almost anyone ever.

Ok, if I see you push 50% of the time, I snap call you with QQ. If you're pushing occassionally it's a marginal call, probably one that I take since it's very hard to put you on a tight enough range that calling with QQ in unprofitable.

Here's what the top 50% looks like: 22+,A2+,K2+,Q2+,J5o+,J2s+,T7o+,T5s+,98o,96s+,87s

vs this range QQ will see a profit of $9.79 or have a 2% edge

30%:44+,A3o+,A2s+,K8o+,K5s+,Q9o+,Q8s+,J9s+

vs this range QQ will see a profit of $0.48 or have a 0.1% edge.

I could never fold QQ in this spot unless you have been pushing very narrow and even then I don't think I can be sure enough that you're pushing narrow enough for me not to call.

what about the value of waiting for the money, and other people to bust out first, im pretty sure the BB woulda called all in if he didnt call QQ, i dont think SnGPT takes that into account

i think the only possible way i might contimplate folding this is if the SS had 1BB or less
