First NLH Cash Session
I'm an experienced tournament player, and a pretty good limit player, but I'm an NLH cash game n00b. That said, here's the hand.
Link to Hand For those who can't read it, here's a basic outline of the hand. It's a 6 max .25/.50 cash game. UTG has me covered, the rest are under the 50 dollar max buyin. I'm at 74.15 and on the button and dealt AKo. Only read is that UTG is pretty tight, and tripled up a few hands ago against a couple maniacs (flopped the nuts and checked, one maniac raised, another pushed, he went over the top). I have been playing very tight aggressive. UTG raises to 2 dollars. Everyone folds to me. I re-raise to 6. SB and BB fold, UTG calls. Flop is [10h Qd 5d], he checks, I bet slightly less than 1/2 the pot, 5 bucks. He calls. Turn is the [Ah]. He checks, I bet 1/2 the pot, he calls. The river is the [Ks]. He pushes all in and has me covered. I have 100 BB left, and pretty much insta fold. How would you have played this? Thanks |
