Bet turn. I had a very similar hand the other day where I checked behind an overpair on the turn on a drawy board after getting check-raised on the flop. You told me to bet the turn all day, I don't see why this hand is any different atall.

Board texture, villain, etc. made me like a check at the time.

I'm still not so sure this is a bet vs this player, he isn't the type to ever show up with Ax here, as he wouldn't c/r the flop, let alone call preflop (he is definitely the type who 3 bets AT+ vs a button raise). Plus if he gets here with Ax I doubt he ever calls a river bet.

It seems to me on the flop his range is more polarized to sets/ and flushdraws/ and possibly air, unless hes very bad its never ace x. Id check, also etting the turn here is usually good espeically if your opponent is passive and wont bluff the river if he misses

i'd much rather bet the turn again here.. as played i dont see much value in betting. these types of villains never pay off worse here unless you two have been tangling a lot.
