Myspace friend denials?

So I was a 'lurker' on Myspace for many months. Had an account, rarely ever on, only used it to check out people's pics. Then most started switching to private, so I was forced by the hand of Tom.

When you request someone to be your friend and they deny it, does that friend request still remain "pending" or will it come down? Or will it tell you you've been denied?

-And yes, I'm too lazy to take 15 mins to make a fake e-mail account, followed by fake myspace account, followed by invite to account, followed by denial, followed by checking up on the request

I am pretty sure it will just go away if they deny it. It shouldn't stay pending.

Yeah it will disappear if they deny it. In my experience though unless you're spam, most people won't deny your request, they'll just never approve it and after a month it will expire.
