2/5 Semi-Bluff
2/5 Live Game
Hero - $600 Villian - $350 Hero has been playing laggish, villian is aware that hero does not have to have a big hand to raise in position. Hero has only shown down big hands so far, but has been raising frequently encountering little resistance. Villian calls very quickly on draws. Hero is dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on button. Folds to Hero who raises to $20. Villian is BB and calls. Flop is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Pot is $40. Villian checks, Hero C-bets $40, Villian calls after thinking for a bit. Turn is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Pot is $120. Villian checks, hero? Is this worth a double barrel, should I check behind and try to hit my draws. My read is that villian is not on a draw, but doesn't like his hand too much. J |

Re: 2/5 Semi-Bluff
I bet sth like 70 here, so that he can call with his FD, too.

Re: 2/5 Semi-Bluff
Typically he will not fold a 3 or a 7, not 55 or 66 bc he has a gutshot. So it's a thin bluff and I would just check behind and bet an A/K/Q/J or [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] river.
