Default Party Poker Exchange Rate Altered?

This is the exchange rate for 100$ converted from American to Canadian that I was quoted by the e-cashier last night:

100 USD = 102.7325 CAD

vs the actual exchange rate:

100 US Dollar = 105.791

So, am I missing something here? Didn't Party used to have great exchange rates? They recently increased their cashout fees, now I feel jipped on the exchange rate too. Maybe I will withdraw to Moneybookers in American and cashout from there if they offer a better rate. I was previously using EFTs.

About the only thing you're missing is the 2 or 3 threads we've had on this already.

Yes, it's been this way for a few weeks now...the great deal we were getting before is finally over.

Can anyone find the original thread that someone started about Party's great exchange rate and caused Party to change it to a not-so-great-but-only-average exchange rate days later?

I'm usually good at search, but I can't find it.

Back in the day you could deposit, withdraw, and draw a profit.

I sent them an email about the exchange rates about a week ago and they said that regardless of what it shows on the cashout screen, the true conversion rate is used when they credit back - which is patently untrue.

Canadian dollar increases to over 0.95/US$ in early trading thanks to June job report today.
