Default 2/4 hu w smerky

i raise ak from btn to 1200 he calls

flop 4 4 6 with a flush draw

he check calls 2400

turn K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] bringing 3flush

he check-miniraises my 7,200

i call

river is dirt blank no effective matter for this hand 2 of spades lets say

he shoves ~22,000 first to act which is about a pot sized bet

what types of factors must be present for this spot to be +ev to make hero call? certainly if I recently made big hero call(s) recently or in prior sessions it should lean this more towards a fold and on the other hand if perky is tilting at the time it makes it more of a call. anything else?

fact that he min craises and you call seems like hes trying to see if youre on a flushy draw and when u dont reraise and call and blank river hits and hes all in = +ev

if he actually had something good hed fatten the pot up slightly on the turn to make all in river call less avoidable

+++++EV

i feel like this is an easy fold

but i dont' know this guy at all, from what little i've seen, i've seen him min-3bet on the turn and fold to a shove, so i have ?NO idea what that [censored] means, i think it's pretty useless w/o a read on him, i'm done typing

wow tough one. perfect bluffing situation for him because he puts you exactly on a hand such as ak/kq/kj most likely. and if u don't have a king obv. it is even better for him because his raise on the turn could be repping the k himself. however, i think u have to fold this unless you've seen him do this as a bluff before.

ps. he could be pushing with like Kx, x being a high diamond for value as well because he figures hes gonna call a big river bet anyway. wow the more i think about it the tougher this hand becomes.

Surprised you actually played a real hand against him and didnt steal the BB. This is almost never a bluff based on board texture and his historical tendencies. As CTS noted, he value bet bluffs with smallish bets. There is no way he is value betting a worse hand.
