PT Having Massive Lag after Converting to SQL DB. Please Help!
I recently converted my 2 million+ access database into a SQL one. The process worked and I made the SQL db the default one. However after a few days of datamining, my PT is really, REALLY slow in loading up ring game statistics. Ridiculously slow I should say. And even after loading them, it lags when I click on different hands or load the replayer. My access db took up awhile to load, but certainly not this long, and it never lagged when checking individual hands. Apparently (I'm such a knob) you can't compact a SQL database.
Any advice on what to do? It's going to be very frustrating if everytime I want to check my stats for the month I have to wait half an hour. Should I just create a new SQL database (I don't remember how to create a new one fwiw). Thanks for any help guys. |
