Oh, P.S. I'm still playing in this tourney (and multitabling SnGs) so it may be a little bit before I make and replies.

I'm currently in 13th with 34 people left. 18 make the $$$.

I don't think it's that bad. 16th-18th only pay $10.60 lol while first pays 2800% more ($286.20). I'd play for first and take more gambles - which is the complete opposite of a SnG.

I know. You actually end up losing money if you finish 16-18.

If JokerPoker had me covered I'd probably just call the flop bet, though it's always tempting to raise when someone bets only 2/3 pot like this. You're certainly not actually *ahead* of much of opponent's range here. Did you raise for fold equity, or just to make sure you would get to see both remaining cards?

I raised because he only bet half pot and I really felt that he did not have a 5. I figured if he raised from early position he would have a hand like AAxx or A2xx.

I wanted to take the pot down right there. When he didn't reraise immediately I was confident he didn't have the 5. There was so much money in the pot that I really couldn't see folding after he reraised. At the very worst I'd be down to around 2,500 chips if I got scooped.

I'm still in 12th place. We're down to 18 people.
