Where are the northern most poker rooms located, and do they fall under the new structures available?

Re: Northern Most FL Poker Rooms?
Somebody posted a map in one of the other threads listing all the Fla rooms.
Not sure exactly where though. this website gets the job done although you have to look up some of the locations on mapquest possibly. http://www.floridacardplayer.com/ To answer Halperin specifically: 1. Get out of St. Lucie. I lived there for 1 summer and up in Vero Beach for 5 summers. I know of what I speak. 2. Ft. Pierce Jai Alai is listed on that site but there's no further info on their room. Through a search I see it appears that they only recently approved it so I guess it's on its way. You could probably call Ft. Pierce Jai Alai to find out more. Until then, enjoy your road-trip down to West Palm Kennel Club or up to the one in Melbourne that I think somebody mentioned. "Ft. Pierce Jai-alai Is Approved For Card Room St. Lucie county commissioners decided Tuesday night in a 4-1 vote that Florida Gaming Inc., which owns Ft. Pierce Jai-alai and Miami Jai-alai, will be allowed to install a 22-table card room. It is predicted that the card room will bring in 4.5 million to $5 million in bets the first year. It is also estimated that it will create 32 jobs with an $800,000 payroll. An additional 10 food service, janitorial and security people will also be needed at an estimated payroll of $300,000. The 79,000 square foot facility will be converting about 4,000 square feet for the card room which will host poker games and tournaments with the maximum bet set at $2.00. Ft. Pierce Jai-alai officials hope that the card room will be an alternative to patrons that are currently traveling to Palm Beach and Brevard Counties in order to play poker. I've only turned up The Poker Room in Best Bet at St. Johns Greyhound Park in Jacksonville.
Anyone know of any others in that corner of Fla? |

I know they have no other rooms in Jax besides the Best Bet. I think they have one in Daytona but I'm not sure. |
