preflop raise is standard

I'd almost always bet this flop and shove if c/r, which i dont think will happen as much as everyone thinks. yes, its a coordinated board but that doesnt mean villain flopped the nut straight or a set.

as played i like the turn and river

I don't know if I like the turn either, its very likely we lost our A/K outs to a made straight and in that case only have 3 Qs and [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]s to draw to. Is that enough to be drawing and are we laying this down if we hit an A or K?

I guess the turn was my big question. It's a big bet but all of my 12 outs are to the nuts...

Bet flop, and try to get it in there. You aren't even that big a dog to a flopped two pair. Anyway you are a favorite over QQ so try to get it in on this flop. I dont mind the flop check if villian is passive and just calls alot.

I think you played it ok just a little passive. As played def fold riv.

I think folding the turn is reasonable - especially in a SNG. You need your opponent to call a $700 bet (or more) on the river when you hit a diamond (most likely win) to have the right implied odds. You also have to guess correctly when an A or K hits the river.

Serious?
I didn't think we really wanted to get it in lvl 1 w/ a draw.

We can't just assume he hit that & even if he had a pair+draw or 2 pair we are ahead or barely behind. Factor that in with the amount he folds to our c/b, it's best to bet. I mean, it's not out of the question to check against some opponents or even in this spot but betting should be your usual play.
