The only people I have every heard do this are Mexican people. They called it a red beer and it was drank in the morning as sort of a hang over remedy. I thought it tasted like [censored].

I have never heard of this with Clamato (in fact, I don't think I've ever seen anyone drink Clamato), but I have definitely seen/had red beer. Either Bloody Mary mix or V8+Tabasco are both pretty good. Kills a hangover well.

And whoever made the distinction b/w chelada and michelada is right.
