Default QQ, 3-way 4bet pf, low flop, passive, flush on turn

No reads. I usually 4bet here preflop but some reason I opted to check. So let's take the hand from my call.

The 4bet is a call or raise right? On the flop, I donkbet because I felt if the 4better had AA/KK he'd check raise all in and I could save myself $160. I know that's nitty but it seems to work at small limits. When he smooth called I was confused, I thought AK or maybe a small/mid pair.

I really think that villain had 88/99 or a complete bluff. I don't see what he pushes the river with in first position with the flush on the board. Maybe he does that with a flush but I think value betting into 2 people is more likely.

6-max 300NL

Hero ($285.75)
BTN ($504.25)
SB ($1144.25)
BB ($574.74)
UTG ($322.25)
MP ($339.60)
------------------------------

Hero is dealt [Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]]
UTG raises to $12.00, MP calls, Hero calls, 1 folds, SB raises to $60, 1 folds, UTG calls $48, 1 folds, Hero calls $48

DEALING FLOP [3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] (pot $192)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $65.00, SB calls $65.00, UTG calls $65.00

DEALING TURN [9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]] (pot $387)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks

DEALING RIVER [8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]]
SB bets $390.00, UTG folds, Hero ???

river is an easy fold, and your analysis of this hand is a mess

Please elaborate. You think he just calls with AA/KK? Probably not. You think he calls with a flush draw and pushes the river? My analysis is biased too, but please explain.

EDIT: Also, if I push the flop shouldn't I just 5-bet preflop? As played, what do I do on the flop?

Your "analysis" of my analysis doesn't really help.

Discovered villain was a huge fish and seen him bluff off $600 with nothing...I highly doubt he had a flush.

Would greatly appreciate if someone could analyze the hand and answer my questions. Thanks.

why on earth do you just call preflop to just check it down? your still going to lose all your money on a non-hitting flop like this, for if they have aces or kings they still stack, decide preflop all in or fold, with no reads and a reraise from out of position SB i'm folding

After you just call the first time aroung i think a shove preflop would be hawt and will get looked up lightly.

Flop is OKish but bet bigger!
Dont check turn behind since you will get alot of calls by TT JJ and random hands with diamonds. And dont be afraid of the flush in big spots like this.
River you have to fold. How is this ever a bluff?

and btw never just call with queens vs a raise, re-pop him pleasse and then this situation is completely avoided because it will give us much more info against small blind
