if hes not raising AA on the flop or turn, he may not raise 22 on either the flop or turn

he seems conservative in a way.

i think he is on 8Tc, AA, and maybe 77 puting you on lower pp or KQs. should've played turn more agg.

I'm really close to folding here.

I think that too many people that say calclaclalclalcclalcl are just thinking in a small way and making a lot of assumptions, for instance, bad stats ---> bluffing call.

The real issue here is your river bet. If you bet even 3/4 pot it makes for an easier fold.

I'm gonna say 8T spades AND clubs are the hands you will see here most. Followed by AA. Followed by A7s.

EDIT: Therefore fold

Thanks for the responses. My mind was all blurry when it happened (long session, bad cards etc) but looking back I think a fold is best against this particular player. My bet sizing was a bit off but, based on what I've seen, he is very unlikely to push 2 pair and most likely he rivered a straight or else had AA. It's probably marginal either way, but just calling because I have a set isn't quite enough here IMO. (He also pushed the river very quick if that makes a difference.)

T8cc (gut+over on flop), 54cc (double gut on flop), 32cc (might raise light since he's deep with position on op?), K2cc, any 2 of {Kc, Qc, Jc, Tc} all make sense for him. i don't think he's ever bluffing or ever value shoving worse than a flush. 2 buyins is deep online and i can't remember the last time i saw a decent non-tag casual player value shove without something that's an obvious shove. i don't think you see T8ss or AA here ever

^ 45cc was a gutshot fwiw.

This is one of those hands where it's really hard to put villain on anything that beats us, I mean no backdoor flushes make a lot of sense, as he would have to have called the flop PSB with a really speculative draw like gutshot + backdoor flush draw or bottom pair + backdoor flush draw to make a flush. But at the same time he probably is bluffing next to never and rarely value shoving worse and players like this tend to be difficult to put on hands so we can't really rule out a lot of hands even though they seem unlikely. Against a tag here however I think this is a pretty easy call, only really losing to specifically T8ss if he is decent.

River could go either way for me honestly, I'd lean towards a call getting almost 3-1 though but it's extremely close imo.

I'd fold pretty quickly, (don't think you can bluff me now 2P2)
