I think it's played fine, if anything the flop bet is a bit too much. And convert it please.

I dont know why villian is callin your bet on the flop, I guess he fell in love with his small pair. I think your flop bet is to much.. id probably bet about 9k, so the risk/reward ratio is much better [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]. other than that.. your opponant played bad and got paid.

Yeah this was 3 way in a MTT 30+3 the difference between 3rd and 2nd was 600 bucks, my friends were telling me i shoulda folded it and wait for him to take the other guy out (he was very aggressive).

But i play for first, if i let him take the other guys chips, he probably woulda been too far outta range to catch up.

Your friends were wrong, you play to make the best +EV-decisions possible. That will rarely involve letting the big stack "take the other guy out".

i think if you overbet the flop and he calls
you should slow down a bit if he shows any signs of strength
(a check minraise)

i do realize that this is 3handed and if he was very aggressive i cant say i would have gotten away from the hand

but i dont know if i would have let the pot get this big either
