It really doesn't matter that you had read. You don't need anymore chips to get a seat. You just need to keep folding until 1 other person is knocked out (which will happen really soon).

Edit: oops just read this was 11 people left. Thought it was 5 left. Ignore the last two posts I made.

I'm glad to read the edit. 11 people left, you have 1200 chips, no raisers before you (even if there was)... Insta push - well played.

LOL @ you being levelled by a hand post.

Yeah, with 5 left I play 0% of hands there. At the end, I had an M of 1.3, but 40 more chips than the player to my right so I open folded AQs and JJ before he lost his 60/40 from his BB.

I did. UTG was shortie, SB was big stack, I was 4th/11 and 2nd at the table.

I see now that you had 8k, not 1200. Clearly I misread the post, but I blame you. Simple rule:

DO NOT POST STRATEGY IN MTTC!

Mttc is for:
- Sweat threads
- LL bets
- Rediculous prop bets
- Flipament challenges
- Dramabombs between people who win much more money in one day than I do in a lifetime.

No strategy here, pls...

Agreed, my last intention was a strategy discussion. I intended "look at how donktastic this play was" as an addition to the discussion of whether or not anyone should play these.

And then my post leveled mflip and all hell broke loose from there. Now back to your regularly scheduled thread ...

Between the $2.20 tourneys and the $1.10 45 mans I went I think 0-12 and was going to kill myself, but on the last two 45s of the day I got seats in both within 5 min of each other.

Not a brag because of the whole 0-12 thing, but I do plan to play the tourney and keep playing for more seats.

I'm not good at poker.
