Default Re: NL 100 - AA not raising preflop

I care and I am trying to learn from my mistakes. I have lost about $400 like this the last couple of days. If I am playing this wrong I want to correct it. If the consensus is I played this correctly and these downswings are normal then I'm okay with that. I am just trying to correctly a possible leak.

Does anybody find a fold here or is that just too tight?

It's too tight. You can't give him credit for AA every time he limps in.

Since he only called preflop, could we put him on trips? I have seen alot of players miniraise with trips on the flop and remember reading on here that miniraises on flops are fairly common with trips. I personally do not miniraise with trips but anyone else see this?

Yeah, but he could also have AQ. He's so short that I don't think you should be folding an overpair.

I have noticed a fair amount of players that are smooth calling with AA preflop. Sometimes you have to pay them off - especially if they are short, but in general just take a note, and don't let it happen again.
