wasn't SMB2 really not even a mario game to begin with?
they just threw in the mario crew when it got imported to the US.

It was called like Doki Doki Panic or something. Does not bother me in the least. I like it because it is so far outside of the Mario norm.

I used to really like SMB2 when I was a kid. I have always wanted to play the other version of it though. I wish they'd release that one too.

I've never looked, but I can't believe there's not a Doki Doki Panic ROM out there somewhere.
