Re: AQ NL $400 hand
[ QUOTE ]
When he goes allin on the turn it looks like a clear fold to me. I don't mind how you played it. I default to check/calling that flop though. [/ QUOTE ] That is not a bad line either. I can see if he bets again on the turn but I was thinking either bet out or c/r on the flop as I hate giving free cards on this kind of board. I only had 150 hands with him but with a 92% CB he would be betting on almost any board. |

[ QUOTE ] I personally like spidey sense. It means you were guessing wildly about his range. [/ QUOTE ] I guess I put him on something between top set and totally nothing. Is that too wide of a range? Umm I thought he had something like AJs AKs AQ KK AA QQ TT and off chance of KJs. Yes I know as Doyle has it firmly ingrained in my head that AQ is a piece of crap especially OOP. It just so happens that he had me reduced to a 5 out hand which I am fine with but given his range I have about 40% equity. [/ QUOTE ] Definitely, keep up the good work! |

Re: AQ NL $400 hand
I would have called as well, it's like I think I am commited already and he might be on a draw and I am not drawing dead anyway.
Good to see some great replies which clearly say to fold there, I mean 200 more to call, half stack, good advice. I donked so much money when I couldn't fold a set or KK to an obvious straight/flush =( |

Re: AQ NL $400 hand
Ok time for me to get some Z's. I'm interested to see who out there just flat calls the flop on this board with KK when check raised on the flop. I haven't played on FTP for awhile and only have 150 hands against you. I finished up my whole session at 22/16 CB 87 Total AF 4.2

Re: AQ NL $400 hand
I might let this go preflop.
I normally 3-bet with AQ (especially OOP), but against this villain I think a fold is good. |

Re: AQ NL $400 hand

[ QUOTE ] Why would you c/r this flop against a 19/10? [/ QUOTE ] I could lead out and he could pop me and that would tell me almost nothing but when I c/r him and he just calls then that tells me a lot more about his hand. [/ QUOTE ] Given that you checkraised and then stacked off I doubt that information was actually very useful. |
