6.50 Stars TT facing 2 overcards, betting flop into pf raiser
Probably about the 3rd minraise from villian. Would you reraise pf with this read? I c-bet with 2 overcards out there figuring I'm either beat and I'll find that out, or I'll take it down. Comments on all streets?

Re: 6.50 Stars TT facing 2 overcards, betting flop into pf raiser
Your bet isn't a cbet, because you didn't raise preflop. I'm check/folding this postflop. Too many villains at the $6.50's will call you down with Kx/Qx, and even though the river bet is often a missed flush bluff, you gotta let it go.
Preflop, I would probably just call the raise myself, though I'm not sure it's the right play. |

Re: 6.50 Stars TT facing 2 overcards, betting flop into pf raiser
just calling is fine - we can't re-raise and then fold to a push and we don't want to be calling a push in this spot with tens. as played i probably check/fold flop, no point in betting behind his check. if he checks again on the turn, then it's time to fire a little bet out there, about the size you bet on the flop. i dunno about the fold on the river getting 3.5:1 tho... min-raise pf, check/call KQx flop, check blank turn, bet after you check turn on another blank? if i had played the hand this way i'd have to make a crying call because the way he played the hand just makes no sense at all. could be JJ, could be 99, could be A7 for all we know...
also could be KK, QQ, 55, etc cuz donks like to slowplay cuz that's how champions play on tv ldo. |
