Acronym - \"5 PTBB/100\"
Posts which talk about win rates often use the following acronym, "5 PTBB/100". What does the "PT" mean? This is 5 "something" Big Blind per 100 hands. I couldn't find this in the FAQs on Acronyms. Thanks.

Re: Acronym - \"5 PTBB/100\"
Yes. This only applies to No-Limit/Pot-Limit game, where a big bet is equal to the size of the big blind. When someone is saying "I won 5 PTBB/100", he says he wins 10 big blinds per 100 hands. Actually, Poker Tracker has an option to change the value of its big bet in NL/PL games, so this is not really of significance anymore; unless someone wants to compare NL to Limit.

Am I missing something obvious? Exactly what does the "PT" stand for?

And your previous post, where you clearly already answered my question didn't register with me when I was skimming the thread...my bad. |
