50nl pretty safe board for AQ
Villian is playing at a 50/20/1.17 ~200 hands. I'm really not sure what he could have here.

Re: 50nl pretty safe board for AQ
You only really beat A10 or even A9 if thats in his range
It depends on how often he steals blinds. If its high enough I tend to give them no credit and probably push flop, although its probably a big leak of mine. |

Re: 50nl pretty safe board for AQ
I think your decision point is the flop. You can definitely expect him to bet again on the turn, so if you just call the flop then you basically give up on the hand. A call on this flop is the same as a fold. I think that if my image was laggy I would push the flop and expect to be called by smaller aces, but you haven't mentioned any history between you guys so I'm leaning toward a fold just because I can't see him playing any hand which you are ahead of this way.
It seems weak to fold to the minraise, but what are you ahead of? |

Re: 50nl pretty safe board for AQ
I agree with Ama here. You need to make a decision on the flop. Either push or fold. Absent a strong read I think fold is the sound option - your hand can't take another bet unless a Q lands on the turn, and even then that Q could end up getting you stacked.
As played, if you are going to call that turn bet, you might as well go all in - because that's where you are headed anyway. |

flop is definitely pivotal and your call is a bit sick. You need to decide where you're going after the flop minraise. |

B/F the turn. Check folding is weak.

Re: 50nl pretty safe board for AQ
Really would not be surprised to see him holding AQ here. I think that AA, AK, KK are all reraising you preflop. He could have AQ here wanting to see if it is good. You need to give him the message - no, no it's not good.
If this was me I have hit a decent flop for my hand for just over 100bb I'm pretty much stacking off here. I expect to see AQ a hell of a lot. |

Re: 50nl pretty safe board for AQ
Not sure what you were doing folding the turn if you called his minraise? The four obviously didn't help him. If you felt you were beat on the turn, you obviously were beat on the flop. Save yourself 7 bucks and fold to his minrr.

Re: 50nl pretty safe board for AQ
This is probably a fold on the turn, not that I wouldn't end up playing the hand this way myself.
