Ok here's some real advice:

1) Just stop caring, don't be outcome dependent. Date lots of beautiful women, don't get caught on one.
2) Stop putting every woman on a such a high pedastel that you look like you're worshipping them, without knowing who they are.
3) Treat women like they are five years old until they prove otherwise to you, especially with girls in college.
4) The following are unnacceptable for a first date: dinner, movie theatre, anything where you spend more than $40.
5) If she offers to pay, let her. You should not have to pay to hang out with her, this is why you follow #4.
6) Always have a plan. Know exactly where/how the date will go.
7) ABC. ALWAYS BE CLOSING.

I do: goofy's love interest creates an account and posts in this thread.

It still might happen. Who's to say she hasn't been checking this board reguarly ever since that douchenozzle tried to trainwreck goofy?

Beat: for getting played out by a solid 9 and spending money on her when she had no intention of putting out.

But that's ok. It's part of the learning experience.

Generally, for it to be considered a date, both parties need to be aware that it is a date.

Then she started being worried that I was mad at her, so I told her I wasn't and hugged her, probably for like 15 seconds, and kissed the side of her forehead as she laid her head against my chest. She told me I was sweet. I pretended to smile.

i think you should have been like "whatever" and left instead of pretending to be fine. then she stews for the next day or two thinking about you and your desirability skyrockets.

it just seems like you're letting girls walk over you. being more honest/straightfoward is hard but necessary.

OK, your game on the date was not AAA+ but still above average.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not even remotely.

Where's the alcohol?

You supplicated her to buy her dinner? Nice one.

Proper response shoulda been 'Fine, you pay for dinner, etc, add funny one-liner'. If she doesn't laugh you have no shot anyway.

She didn't want you to explain to her why you wanted to drive 10 miles.
You obviously failed to pick up on her lack of physical cues.

Where's the alcohol?
Make it clear you have ZERO interest in being in the friend zone. You already have friends. You are interested in [censored] someone.

Where's the demonstration of higher value -- bowling? Are you goddamn serious? Why the desperation?

If she's not interested, she's not worth your time, next!
