You idiots. The photographer's name was Kevin Carter. He didn't off himself because of hate from the photo. That is simply retarded. He offed himself because he had seen too much and also because of the massive change in his life the Pulitzer caused. He killed himself only 2 months after winning the Pulitzer. His suicide note includes these words:
I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings & corpses & anger & pain . . . of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners
