Default $10 + $1; 45 man SnG: Preflop decision

FINAL TABLE of a 45 man MTT. 6 places pay. This play would probably be a mistake, and I can aknowledge that, but how big of a mistake is it? Is it reasonable to push your stack to increase it by the $1,200 in blinds, in order to give OUR HERO a better chance at one of the top 3 prizes? Blinds are so high at this point it is almost like a crap shoot.

I believe All in is a mistake, but I'm sure it can be debated its somewhat reasonable. What do u think?

Yeah, it isn't a great decision. I normally fold ATo from early position at a full table.

I actually think this is pretty close with the blinds being so high. I lean towards a fold, but there are certain tables I might do this on (ie very tight tables).

Well it's either all in or fold, right? You got ten bb's so pushing seems fine. If you run into a monster them's the breaks.

FYP... I still wouldn't push ATo here... More like 3xbb PFR...

Waaaaat? You have less than 10xBB and you still want to make a 3xBB PFR?

I would def. shove here because you are approaching the bubble and have a decent amount of FE. And picking up the blinds would increase your stack by ~15% which would put you in pretty good shape

Raising 3xBB with our stack is really awful.

Im with TimeMachine. Your stack can hurt everybody at the table so they will be calling with a tighter range then usuall. Also its bubble and people might be folding mid pairs and something like AJ so definetly push.

I'm a STTer and FWIW, I think shoving here is too loose for my taste, and raising 3x is terrible.

I'd shove AJs, *maybe* AJo depending on how tight the table has been.

I think pushing here is a mistake.Making it 3x bb is awful, that doesn't accomplish anything,so pushing is better than that, but still a mistake imo.

I know you are low on chips, but even if you let this one go and loose your next blinds, you still have plenty of FE.Stacks are pretty even here, and everyone is looking to make the money,so callingranges are tight, but your push here is really nothing but a straight steal. The only hands that will call you are hands that have you dominated.

In this situation,I'd rather let the blinds go by and push w 8-5s in position than move in here.
