Re: reasons to quit pot
I smoked like an ounce a week at one point. Sure, it made me lazy, but I never really suffered from paranoia. Apart from that one time I had a nosebleed and I thought it meant I had AIDS.
My intention is to die a pothead; until then, whatever, as long as I'm not buying and smoking all day every day. |

Re: reasons to quit pot
Nobody likes a quitter...
LOTS of people smoke pot into their 30's+ and still function in society. I know a lot of them (my grandpa was one and he's has well over $1M net worth). To label otherwise is ignorant. |

Re: reasons to quit pot
Reasons to quit:
1. Makes you dumb 2. Being burnt out sucks and you spend more time being burnt out than high 3. Makes you lazy That's all I can think of, I always try to quit pot but I never can. At least I can play poker while high. |

i have smoked daily for the past few months and have not noticed any changes. I do work out every day(or every other) and I barely notice it then. I do feel lazy sometimes though...

Re: reasons to quit pot
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] at what point should i consider quitting? early 20s? mid 20s? [/ QUOTE ] Mid 20's seems alright, I don't know where you live but here in CA they have these 'canibus clubs' that sell all kinds of gourmet herb and cookies/candy w/ herb cooked into it. The people I see comming out of these shops for the most part look like washed-up/worn-down hippies. I can't imagine that any of them work or are of any value to society. Now don't get me wrong I don't have anything against recreational drugs, but for these people it doesn't really look like recreation. [/ QUOTE ] Sort of old post but this is ridiculous. There are no cannabis clubs in CA that sell weed brownies or herb. Marijuana is still illegal in CA - I live in Berkeley where it is basically ignored by the cops, but if you opened a headshop and started selling weed you'd be jailed in no time. [/ QUOTE ] lol you sir, are retarded [/ QUOTE ] Glad I am not the only one that knows this guy is 100% wrong. [/ QUOTE ] It is hard to believe he really lives here. I have never met anyone who didn't know that... |
