I smoked like an ounce a week at one point. Sure, it made me lazy, but I never really suffered from paranoia. Apart from that one time I had a nosebleed and I thought it meant I had AIDS.
My intention is to die a pothead; until then, whatever, as long as I'm not buying and smoking all day every day.

Nobody likes a quitter...
LOTS of people smoke pot into their 30's+ and still function in society. I know a lot of them (my grandpa was one and he's has well over $1M net worth). To label otherwise is ignorant.

1. Makes you dumb 2. Being burnt out sucks and you spend more time being burnt out than high 3. Makes you lazy That's all I can think of, I always try to quit pot but I never can. At least I can play poker while high.

i have smoked daily for the past few months and have not noticed any changes. I do work out every day(or every other) and I barely notice it then. I do feel lazy sometimes though...
