Payment by certified check/money order

I had hilarious runin by email today with an online casino. I always pay in foreign countries by money order unless they request certified check, which is rare. Anyway I asked these people how I could open an account by money order. I was told that since I didn't have an account I couldn't open one. What the hell!? Well that lot won't get my business. I couldn't work out whether the replier didn't understand or didn't understand english or both.
