I tried to search for this, but there was so much noise. I would really appreciate it if someone could post a link to a good discussion or give their personal take on this.
What I want to know are the basic ranges for 3betting preflop out of the blinds against a typical TAG raise from Button/CO etc... Assuming both players are identical in postflop ability, there should be a basic range you can reraise out of the blinds without being too exploitable. |

I was thinking if you were the button. Obviously tighter in the blinds. Depends on just how aggressive the person is post flop. Taggish stats dont mean they sack off post flop with anything. For me it depends on the villan on how many hands I have played with them. Raising > calling in most spots from blinds. |

If he is a solid, typical TAG and doesn't realize you're a solid player as well then you can LAG up his ass and make your 3-bet range pretty massive because he is folding 99, AJ, and everything worse, and maybe calling with TT, JJ, AQ, and reraising with AK QQ KK AA. Typically good TAGs still raise light when folded around into late position, so he's dumping MOST of his range to your 3bet.

Mmm so true. Well placed 3-bets screw with my TAG game. I hate having a solid lag to my left for this reason
